Another vision comes to print

Thursday, December 28, 2006

As a photographer my mind is constantly seeing things as photos. With children it’s hard to have those visions come to print. Last night all boys ended up in the bath together. This doesn’t happen very often. I decided that I would try to get a photo of the three of them. It could be my last chance. This was the first picture I took, can you believe it? It will be printed as 10×20 and hung in that very bathroom. I have had a vision of just this photo for so long. This is most likely my favorite photo of the year.

So that was Christmas.

Wednesday, December 27, 2006

Christmas of 2006 came and went. The tree is down, the decorations packed up, the outside lights are neatly stacked in the attic. I am happy to have my house back. I love Christmas and the decorations but the clutter gets to me after so long. I couldn’t take it another day. Luckily for me, Mr. Fun was up to taking the outside decorations down. I feel renewed. Now I get to organize all the new toys and find them a home. Luckily for me the kids didn’t get much. I normally purge toys before the holiday, this year I didn’t feel the need. The boys don’t have too many toys and JJ has really started to outgrow toys. So much so that she has $45 to spend and nothing at Target or Toys R us fit the bill.
The inlaws did get other presents for everyone. I was very pleased with what JJ received from them. Shes already made 2 bracelets with it. None of which were for me *pout*. I guess I’ll have to make my own.

Remembering why Christmas is so special.

Well its here, the XBOX 360 has arrived and it’s not so bad.

It’s actually a really cool system. I just have to keep them outside more so they want to place less.

The littlest hockey player, not yet two years old, can shoot a puck like nobody’s business. Oh he’s so cute. He loves to play hockey….morning noon and night.

He shoots, He scores...

We hope you had a wonderful holiday. Lots of love from our house to yours.

Yummy....

This was just as much fun as the candy canes but less messy. Now to keep the kids from picking at them.

Isn’t he the custest? I hope you all are enjoying the holiday season. I am a little less stressed. The house is about 100% clean, laundry is getting done and most gifts bought. I got it all under control now. Family will be here Saturday, the kids are going to be in heaven. We are making trees tonight, stay tuned for more yummy photos.
