The kids and I are leaving for four days to visit my mom. Wish Mr. Fun could join us and it was for longer but you take what you can get.

The letter of the week is H. But in this case an upside down H will have to do. My silly G.

My moms birthday is today. She turns 42. Okay not really but I tend to think of my mom as 42 years old.
I must give a big ole thank you to her as well. She rocks. She is the best mom EVAH!!! She is always willing to go WAY out her way to help me. I could never repay her for all she’s done for me. Love ya mom *HUGS*
The Huckleberries wish they could be with you today. Since we can’t we wanted to make sure you knew how much you are loved and appreciated.
It’s not even his Mickey
Tuesday, June 26, 2007
This Mickey Mouse belongs to a photographer friend of mine. Her twins left it at the last get together and I have yet to return it. I took it because I lived closet to her out of everyone there. This was way back in, I don’t even remember what month now. It stayed in my truck for a very long time until it somehow made it’s way out. Now my T is in love with Mickey. We have tried a few times to meet up so I can return Mickey to his rightful owners and it hasn’t worked out. I now believe Mickey has been kidnapped and returning him is going to be very hard on one little boy. So I am asking you, where can I find a replacement Mickey? Do they sell Mickeys at Target? I must get this Mickey put up before T ruins him. So I need to find a replacement. Because this is what I get when I try to take Mickey and put him up.

He runs yelling “my mickey!!!”

Thats me lately.
Reason #1~ I have to upgrade my blog and that leaves me so confused. I have been advised to back up before doing so. So tomorrow I back up and then work on the upgrading so those emails will stop coming. I may screw everything up in the process and this blog may disappear. If that happens I promise to get it back one way or another. So that my two readers won’t miss me. But I know zip about wordpress.
NEVERMIND. It’s done, it’s upgraded. WOOHOO! Pays to have good friends that are smart and willing to offer a helping hand.
Reason #2~Mr. Fun started at his new store, he’s been out of town and working long hours. This means he’s not cleaning because he’s not home long enough to clean. So who has to clean? Mrs. Fun and I suck at it, really. I hate to clean.
Reason #3~Lack of response from clients. I hate the waiting game.
Reason #4~Lack of local clients. I just want to work. I have clients in Utah come August and more in Florida come September. Not a single local client.
Reason #5~ I really want to get to California this summer but the timing is not working out at all.
Reason #6~I have a cracked tooth and can’t find a good dentist.
Reason #7~I really want to start a business blog but see #1.
Reason #8~There is nothing here to do during the day that doesn’t cost a small fortune with four kids hence #5.
Reason #9~I hate my hair right now. My last haircut sucked the day I got it and it still sucks now.
Reason #10~I keep stepping on little pieces of legos. Those suckers hurt something awful.
So there, i’m moody.
The results are in….

Dance recital number two is over. We are free until August. JJ rocked the house. She looked awesome up there.

That’s my girl front and center.
The best part of yesterday was a text message I received at 3:30PM from Mr. Fun. He hauled ass out of his meeting and made it on an earlier flight home. We picked him up at 5:00PM. I was excited to see him and even more excited that he is that kind of dad. He wanted to see his girl dance. He made it happen. JJ was so excited when I told her that daddy was on his way home and we had to pick him up before the recital instead of after.
I also have to mention that I am very proud of my boys. They were all very well behaved. Yesterday was a very long day for the two youngset. We left the house at 11AM and didn’t get back home until 10:30PM. That is a long day for a 2 year old and 5 year old. My 7 year old was lucky enough to be at a friends house until recital time.

Look at those two staying occupied in a calm, out of the way, quiet manner while I helped JJ get ready. They were so good.
YES, that is Wy being good. He didn’t have one tantrum the whole day. He whined a little here and there about being tired but so did I.

Wild Card Wednesday

We made it through try outs. She finds out Friday if she made it.

What you are looking at above is the estimated cost and commitment overview if she makes it. I knew it was going to be time consuming and I knew it would be an expense. I did. I really did know this. So why am I so shocked? It’s not nickel and dimes we are talking. We are talking thousands of dollars for one year. YES!!! only one year that equals to about nine months of dance. And this is where all the veteran dance moms start laughing at me. Go ahead….i’ll pause while you point and laugh.
I am thinking she’s worth every penny and second. Now her three little brothers may not agree when it comes to how much time is spent at the dance studio. She’s required to take four classes and is encouraged to take one elective class. That is 4+1= 5 classes a week.

A dancers heart must dance…..
