I am in the process of changing my logo and colors. I am also going to make this blog a business blog. I have started to flickr and I am really enjoying it. I seem to not have time to do both. So this made the decision to turn this into a business blog a no brainer. I am going to try to learn how to switch it over myself. I know it won’t be easy but I am up for the challenge.
Also the boys started baseball so I am gone Monday through Thursday with dance and that. Then we have two games every Saturday.

This is from a friend/client in Florida. Those are her boys, her card, my photos. Aren’t they sweet, I love those boys.
One night we went out with another friend,Kelley. As I was getting out of the car I heard something(it was a june bug) so I screamed. Steph was getting out of the driver seat and started running, shoes in hand, up the street.
Kelley and I were confused and laughing. We asked her why she was running and she says “I thought it was an armadillo” . Oh my…we laughed so hard. For a long time.
Today the ups man dropped this cute little armadillo at my door step. I laughed just as hard all over again. Thank you Steph, I love you girl.
And because I laugh every time I watch this video. This is Mrs. Fun, sober, right after the incident.

My mom bought this for me last time she was out. I love LOve LOVE it!! It holds 20 photos. I have 3.5×5’s on there now and I think its the perfect size. So if you are looking for a way to display lots of photos without the clutter or wall space. Heres your answer. I do wish the photos were laminated though.
Photo Mobile can be found here

If only all my clients wouldn’t think it was weird to come sit on my kitchen table. This was such a fun session and the light was wonderful. I LOVE my kitchen light. So would you think a photographer was weird if they asked you or your child/children to sit on their kitchen table? Yes, bare feet and all.

Doesn’t feel like Christmas yet…..still waiting. Last night was JJ’s holiday concert at the Marriott. Even with the beautiful music and festive surroundings it didn’t feel like Christmas. I am trying to figure out why. Our house is decorated, the stocking hung and some presents wrapped under the tree. Even have half my cards addressed and ready for stamps.
I am thinking it could be the stress from my job. I have late orders and I don’t know how to handle it other than busting my butt and getting the orders placed and mailing out photos daily.
I was asked what I wanted for Christmas this year. I want two things, both things I know I won’t be getting because they are very unrealistic. Simple as that. This is also the first year that I have struggled with what to get the kids. They don’t want much and what they want aren’t big ticket items. Hey, I am not complaining but the fat guy in a red suit always brings one big unwrapped item. Mr. Fun and I went shopping the other day and had such a hard time. We left with some board games and footballs.
However, last night Wy asked if he could get a guitar when he turned eight. I said he could get one when he was five if he wanted. He got very excited. Then G said he wanted one. So I am thinking that guitar times two would be good. So this leaves us with T. Oh and don’t forget Mr. Fun…..NO idea what to get him. He deserves the world but can’t think of anything grand that I could buy. Nobody say sexy photos of myself because that won’t happen until I lose ten pounds or learn how to liquefy really well.
I am hoping that it starts to feel like Christmas for me soon. You may be seeing lots of ornaments ;)

So we were at the store picking out a treat for G’s class. He is star of the week and he can bring a treat in to share with the class. I would prefer to make them but that’s not allowed, all treats have to be store bought.I think it’s a stupid rule. We had cupcakes picked out then JJ pointed out a candy cane made from cupcakes. I asked G if he would rather have that. JJ answered with “he doesn’t like that”. Out of nowhere this lady asked G if he could talk. G looked at me for permission to speak to a stranger, I nodded but not before this lady asked him again if he could talk. He answered with yes. She began to lecture him that he needs to talk for himself. I was so shocked I was speechless(which is rare). I tried to get my children moving quickly. Hahaha, four kids all moving in one direction quickly while surrounded by treats they rarely get, now that’s hilarious. She wouldn’t stop talking about her kids and how they talk for each other and she doesn’t like it. She then told G once again that he needs to talk for himself so that he wouldn’t get hurt. I told her that he’s not much of a talker anyways. This woman started on how that doesn’t matter and he needs to speak for himself. OH MY WORD WOMAN!! SHUT UP!!! Those that know my kids know that they rarely talk for each other and that is why my almost three old talks like he’s five. JJ just happened to hear the question and G didn’t. So I had to be put through a very creepy situation. I suppose I can understand her concern but she doesn’t know my kids, they don’t speak for each other very often. So lady, BACK OFF!!! Go work on your own children and let me parent mine the way I see fit.
I had the urge to take photos just for me today. I woke up with the plan to take T out and photograph him being T. Well, it started raining. RAINING! I don’t remember the last time it rained here. Granted we need this rain but why today?
I have the itch to click that shutter button and proof on my new computer for me.

Be thankful for the little things. Love your family for all they are and all they aren’t.

I still can’t believe it but I did it. I bought a computer. Mr. Fun built it online and we actually ordered it and paid for it in full. We did not use credit. Cold hard cash from part of my Florida money. This blows my mind,in a good way of course. Now to wait for it. I am not good at waiting. It says 3-5 days to deliver not including building time. So what two weeks??? Hopefully not quite that long. I hope I love it, I hope I want to marry it.
We do have one small problem….I don’t have a desk or a desk chair. I want a custom built desk. I see it in my head but how to get it is the question. I want a desk that will have room for my kids to sit at and do homework. I have an empty room in my house and this is where I invision such desk. Now to make it a reality without breaking the bank or irritating the hell out of my husband. I have looked online for desks and nothing is exactly what I want.
I have this cousin, his name is David but you can call him Dave, I was thinking he could come out for a weekend and build me what I want. I told Mr. Fun I would pay him with food and beer and time spent with my wonderful children. HAHAHA!! Not sure he’d go for that.
Here’s to dreams, they can come true. So don’t be afraid to put your arms out and fly.

I’m still dreaming of that new camera ;)
